Norzagaray College Library (NCL) traces its roots back to the college's founding in 2007. With a modest collection of books and resources, the library was situated on the second floor of the Main Building. The library's role as a core of information and learning expanded as the institution grew. Dedicated faculty members and administrators played a vital role in establishing the library and curating the initial collection to support academic programs in B.S. Computer Science (No. GR-035 Series of 2010), B.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management (No. GR-031 Series of 2010), Bachelor of Elementary Education (No. GR-056 Series of 2010), and Bachelor of Secondary Education (No. GR-057 Series of 2010). In 2011, Norzagaray College received the Certificate of Program Compliance for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.

On June 17, 2009, NCL started with a total of 2952 volumes of books in its collection. By September 23, 2016, CHED visited the library, and the collection had expanded to 5917 volumes of books. This expansion occurred during Norzagaray College’s application to become a CHED-Recognized Higher Education Institution in the Philippines, it was granted as per Resolution No. 038-2019 on January 29, 2019. As of October 27, 2022, NCL has further expanded its collection to include 8425 volumes of books with a combination of foreign and local publications to support the academic requirements as well as general references and other collections.

Furthermore, the library has achieved remarkable advancements. Originally equipped with just three computer units, it has since evolved into a space dedicated to computer workstations and increased to eight units connected to the internet. Demonstrating a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, NCL has embraced online innovations. In January 2020, NCL acquired its introductory eBook collection, expanding its digital offerings. By September 2022, NCL not only strengthened its digital resources but also subscribed to e-journals, providing an even more extensive range of academic materials. The library has modernized data collection through the implementation of Google Workspace, facilitating communication with library clients in addition to the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) that is readily accessible, simplifying information retrieval for library patrons.

In June 2020, NCL took a progressive step by establishing its official Facebook Page, a pivotal platform for direct communication with clients. This initiative allows for prompt responses to clients’ inquiries and the seamless delivery of essential library services. Undeniably, NCL consistently demonstrates its adaptability to emerging trends, ensuring it remains responsive to the evolving needs of its clients and provides services both in-person and via online platforms. With a strong commitment to continued growth and improvement, NCL is continuously enhancing the quality and scope of its services and looking forward to expanding its facilities in the future.
